The Lost Worlds of Gerry Anderson DVD from DVDLand.

Prepare to be taken to places you've never seen before. Witness fascinating stories spanning the far reaches of the galaxy. Marvel at the creative ideas and explosive action. These are The Lost Worlds of Gerry Anderson.

For the first time on DVD, this two disc set presents a collection of rare films and pilots from the famed creator of Thunderbirds, UFO and Space: 1999 - Gerry Anderson.

The inventive producer and his team created television series which appealed to kids and equally the kid in all of us. From the 'supermarionation' process that gave us puppet classics Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons to the explosive live action of UFO, The Protectors and Space: 1999, Gerry Anderson's productions did (and still do) entertain all ages, however, not all of his ideas were green-lit to full series.

At last these lost chapters are available to see, from the early puppet film, Here Comes Kandy, to the final segment of the stop-motion animated comedy series, Dick Spanner. Included are Gerry Anderson's pilot films, such as The Investigator (the last puppet film from the original Century 21 key crew), The Day After Tomorrow, a rarely-seen tele-movie pilot that spanned the production of Space: 1999 and the pilot Space Police--a sci-fi adventure that went on to serve as the template for science fiction favourite, Space Precinct.

Note: All our DVDs are new Australian region 4 DVDs made for Australian DVD players.
