Soldier Blue DVD from DVDLand.

Based on an allegoric historic encounter between white settlers and the Cheyenne Indians of the west, Soldier Blue is a violent drama which enacts the struggle of a U.S. soldier named Honus Gant and a white woman named Cresta who has been captured by the Indians two years earlier. They are the only survivors of a slaughter committed by Cheyennes on a cavalry group. The pair is hoping to stay alive until they reach the nearest army outpost. As they travel onward, Honus shows a growing affection for Cresta but he has problems with her beliefs as she has more sympathy for Indians than for the U.S. government.
