The Andre Rieu 2022 Maastricht Concert Happy Days Are Here Again sees maestro André Rieu iperforming from his hometown of Maastricht once again! We are proud to present André’s brand-new summer concert - Happy Days are Here Again! The concert will be a jolly and captivating event on the iconic Vrijthof square, featuring popular feel-good classics, show-tunes, and of course, joyous waltzes. Together with the wonderful Johann Strauss Orchestra and very special guests, André is bringing an uplifting and romantic party to DVD!

After two years without concerts due to the pandemic, André Rieu and his beloved Johann Strauss Orchestra finally return to the Vrijthof Square in Maastricht in July of 2022 to enchant an enthusiastic audience of 180,000 people from over 100 countries during a string of 15 long-awaited concerts. Happy Days Are Here Again captures these spectacular open-air concerts full of emotion, romance, love, and beloved melodies from all over the world.
 
André is ed by his orchestra, a choir, international soloists, a pipe band, and the Great European Men’s Choir, for which André invited 70 singers from opera houses in , Belgium, and the Netherlands to the well-known Maastricht Men’s Choir, De Mastreechter Staar.
 
In total, 220 artists performed with André in 2022. Happy Days Are Here Again includes a song by Ukrainian soprano Anna Reker, who performed a well-known song from her home country; a truly emotional highlight for the audience.

Fans can look forward to many more beloved musical treasures and favorites such as Nessun dorma, The Rose, Hava Nagila, Conquest of Paradise, Oh fortuna, The Blue Danube, I Will Survive, Life is Live and many more. The 150-minute-long DVD Happy Days Are Here Again will have André Rieu fans around the world sing, laugh and dance in their living rooms!
